Silobreaker.com is our free news search service which offers advertisers both traditional and context-based advertising, advocating the same philosophy (and technology) for ads as for our search in general. The idea being, that the more contextually relevant ads are the more interesting users will find them.
The site attracts educated and engaged users from business, finance, government, academia and NGOs as well as large numbers of private news consumers.
About 50% of our users come from North America, 25% from Europe (15% from the UK), 15% from Asia, 5% from Australia/New Zealand and the rest from other parts of the world.
Silobreaker’s standard advertising plan works on a “run of site” basis with ad placements in four positions on each page. Additionally, we offer contextualised and targeted advertising on a geo, section, topic, entity or keyword basis.
